We are a law firm specialized in Immigration Law committed to a humane and rigorous practice.
Aequalis Advocades was founded with the intention of accompanying and advising individuals who wish to build their life project in Spain. We believe in a law that is close, accessible, and human, where every story matters and every process is guided with responsibility and empathy.
My name is Gemma Regol Pratdepadua, I am a registered lawyer at the Il·lustre Col·legi d’Advocats de Mataró, graduated in Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona and trained in the Master's Degree in Access to the Bar at UNIR.
I have specialized in Immigration Law, directing my training and professional experience to this field, with specialization programs at INEAF Business School and additional courses at the Bar Association.
I decided to dedicate myself to Immigration Law because, since I was little, I have felt a special sensitivity towards social justice and, in particular, towards the stories of migration and the social realities faced by migrants. Over time, I understood that the law, apart from doing justice, can be a tool to open paths, accompany processes, and protect rights. That is the place from which I practice my profession.
Our Mission
I accompany my clients in various processes such as visas, residence permits, Spanish nationality, arraigo, and family reunifications, among others. My commitment is to offer clear, transparent advice tailored to each personal situation.
At Aequalis Advocades we work from closeness, listening, and respect. We know that migrating involves efforts, dreams, and courage. That is why our mission is to make that journey easier.
'Aequalis' from Latin aequālis meaning 'equal' or 'fair'. This is the foundation of our legal practice.

At Aequalis Advocades we collaborate with 4Braves España, an agency specialized in international mobility for students who wish to come to Spain to pursue their studies.
From 4Braves, I am the lawyer responsible for the immigration area, in charge of the comprehensive processing of visas and residence permits for studies, as well as the regularization and migratory support of students throughout their process in Spain.
We work together to offer a complete, clear, and secure service, covering everything from the selection of the academic program to the obtaining of the visa and the arrival in the country.
